The Ace Of Spades - 1000th Upload!

So... 1000th upload!  Yay!  And uh... So this might be a little unexpected for my 1000th update but um.  So I did ask about what I should do for it, and some of the suggestions were pretty neat, but the more I thought about it the more I wanted it to be something that's symbolic of how much I've improved over the past few years.  So... Here we go, something that probably needs a bit of explanation.

So this is Alice Deckard, AKA the magical girl Ace of Spades.  She... Was the first character I ever designed who I actually had any real idea about.  Sure, I'd made characters for RPs and stuff before, but I never really drew any of my character ideas up, and... She was the first time I actually drew up a character idea so yeah.

Her design hasn't really changed much in over two years, but I always loved her design so it works really.   But let's have a little timeline thing I guess. (So I was going to make these all thumbnails but apparently there's a limit on thumbnails for some reason so they're going to be links instead I guess)

Aaaand that's all the pictures I've ever done of her.  I like to think that it's a good representation of how much I've improved, really, but yeah.   Honestly, despite the fact that I kind of stopped doing her for a while because I just had no real idea what to do with her (especially after scrapping most of her setting information ), she's a very important character to me.  Sure, there's others I've designed that I do like more than her, but... You'll always remember your first, I guess.

Also, whilst it's over two years old now, I still think this commission I got of her from the wonderful is one of the best pictures of any of my designs out there (it was worth every penny, is what I'm saying XD).

But yeah, um, original lineart and base colours by me, lineart fixups and shading by .  Here's to another thousand, I guess!  Thank you everyone who's watched, favourited or commented on my stuff; whilst I mostly do this for myself it's really encouraging and yeah. I'm bad at this kind of thing but thank you.  Especially WhitePulse43 for helping me get the confidence to get this far, and to VitaVitaAR for being the best friend I could possibly ask for.  Thank you all, really.
